The OCC Yachting sailing school in Kortgene, Zeeland is created for anyone wo wants to learn how to sail a boat. We do not only explain and practice sailing details, but it is also essential to know how to maneuver a cabin yacht by engine.
Courses are taught in blocks of 3,5 hours in which we considere the needs of the customer. What is your sailing experience and what aspects would you like to improve. There are a number of basic courses assembled, that can be complemented with aspects which can differ per person.

Especially the practical training sessions on the Veersemeer are highly recommended. Here aspects such as anchoring, maneuvering by engine, and the man overboard maneuver are practiced, but also basic concepts for navigation and sail handling can be instructed.
You decide, in consultation with the instructor, what your course package will look like.
After a number of course days you can confidently go out and enjoy sailing on the Dutch waters, or book a sailing holiday in one of the countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea.

Some of our training courses are: special sailing maneuvers, special maneuvers by engine, engine technique and maintenance, flotilla sailing abroad and the course cooperation on board.
