You can find the OCC Yachting boating school in the Delta Marina in Kortgene in the south west of the Netherlands.

This unique location at the Lake of Veere (Veerse meer) is ideal for both beginners and more advanced sailors. For people with little or no experience it is even very suitable. The lake is well protected/sheltered and there are clear and sufficient sea marks. The lake is also wide enough to sail all courses. Also for courses related to the anchor or berthing maneuvers the Lake of Veerse is a perfect place to practice.

For those who would like to experience more difficult circumstances, there are numerous possibilities. Within half an hour of sailing you can pass the Zandkreek sluice and end up in the Oosterschelde, where you encounter the confrontation with currents and commercial shipping.

For even more specious waters there is the possibility to plan trips around one, or more, islands and peninsulas of what Zeeland exists.
